Modern Transportation

In a 4, 8, 19, 33 or 53  seater bus. Please ask for clarification.  We do not completely fill our buses - maximum 45 passengers.

Black Rock Gorge (optional)

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN EXTRA - this means we only visit if we have small numbers, if the terrain is passable and if time allows.  If you especially want to visit here then maybe book a private tour, but it is more expensive.

Visit the geological marvel of Black Rock Gorge in Evanton where Harry Potter’s Goblet of Fire was filmed in 2004. See the steep drop of the water rushing through the ravine as you stand on its bridge.

Please note sometimes we cannot access the track due to fallen trees of flooding but we will try our best to include it. If you book children please indicate their ages so we can hide a Harry Potter wand in the woods :)

Dunrobin Castle

Visit and tour round the amazing fairytale castle built in the style of a French chateau, dating back to the 1300’s.  Wander in the grandiose gardens, museum and be wowed by the Falconry display. Entrance price is included in your booking.

Million Dollar View

See the view of the Dornoch Firth site of scientific interest that locals refer to as 'millionaire's view'. Spend ten minutes looking and taking photos.

Quaint Dornoch Village

See Dornoch Cathedral used for the blessing ceremony for the famous wedding of Madonna to Guy Ritchie, as well as the baptising of their children. The last witch in Scotland to be burned at the stake was in Dornoch.  It also hosts good quality gift shops and lovely cafes and restaurants, as well as Cocoa Mountain - cafe for hot cocolate and chocolate delights.

Extras 2026:

In 2026 this tour includes a visit and tour and tasting of Balblair distillery

If time allows we will get photos of Glenmorangie Distillery and perhaps Balblair distillery but this is only usually available for 8 hour tours with ship departures 6pm or later.
